Security Certificate expiration

I keep getting a message everytime I try to go into something on the internet including when I try to go to HP Support that warns that my Security Certificate has been expired and would I like to proceed. I don't know if this is related but anytime I click that yes, I want to proceed, I cannot access things. When I try to access HP support remote assistance it says that the Security Certificate is expired and when I click yes to proceed, I cant access. It says modem not found when I try to email a question to them. Can anyone help me? Thanks
