Trojan Horse?

Could anyone tell me about the 'pop-up' as stated below? This may not be
verbatim as I am getting the information second hand from a friend, as comes
up on his screen periodically. His virus scanner cannot detect it when he
runs the full scan. Until yesterday, he had not activated the firewall as
provided in WindowsXP:

TrojanHorse.Downloader.Ramex.Cis found in file
C:\System Volume
Information\_restore{2DIOC7IA-D792-45C4-AFID-OE21AOEE54B}RP68}AOOO3932.dll

Sorry for the vagueness but all suggestions appreciated.
