Yes I uninstalled the Microteck software prior to Epson installation. I have
run the gamut on other responses. I reinstalled the Microteck and it works
great.

XP. The Epson printer part installs and works well but the scanner will

Epson help line tells me to re-install Windows. There has to be a better /

Did you uninstall the ScanWizard software that commonly comes bundled with
Microtek scanners prior to installing the Epson?
The scanner portion of an AIW is no substitute for a dedicated scanner.
