Apparently he has self-nominated himself as the "what is on-topic here"
netcop for this newsgroup. Not because he occasionally notes that a
topic doesn't belong in this group but because that is all he ever says
in his few posts totalling all of 27 starting all of 3 weeks ago (oh
yeah, he's the expert, for sure, uh huh).

OldDuke is too stupid and/or too lazy to even notice there is no non-OS
specific microsoft.public.hardware newsgroup (carried by Microsoft's own
NNTP server). I'm not sure troll quite suffices to describe OldDuke's
posts. Most trolls have a bit more intelligence. Boring is more
accurate of his posts. He's a broken record: click, "off-topic for this
newsgroup", click, "off-topic this newsgroup", click, "off-topic",
click, "off-topic", ad nauseum.

Like watching commercial television/cable programming, he's just like
the advertisement noise that you have to deal with. However, it is easy
to ignore his off-topic "ads". Even you can killfile in WLM.

However, there are THOUSANDS of hardware forums on the web. ANYBODY
with ANY intelligence (obviously not you though) can find them and ask
there off topic questions THERE.

OH, and I've been around a lot longer than three weeks. I've been
posting for YEARS. Nice try, though.
