Re: USB to Parallel adapter cable.

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Shenan,

Thanks for bringing those attachments to my attention in a polite manner. After reading your post carefully several times over, I still don't know how the attachments got there or how your explanation would have helped prevent them from being attached. Right now I'm scanning my drive for malware, which seems at this point to be the most likely explanation for what happened. In the mean time. I recommend no one be foolish enough to open the attachments. Like they say, curiosity killed the cat!

better data throttling and control to solve the problem. When I
plugged one of these devices into my printer and computer, I find
that I get an extra line feed between each line of print, whether
it be an image or text. That's even less acceptable than the 100%
CPU usage. Am I missing something here? Is there a setting
somewhere in the OS, MS Word, or in the printer itself that needs
to be set for the cable to work properly? I'm at a loss for what to
try at this point. Any suggestions welcome and appreciated!

Pardon? What pictures are you referring to?

In your original posting you included two attachments.
- QMARK.GIF - Orange up arrow with yellow questionmark in front
of it.
- ARROW.GIF - Red up arrow, faded at the bottom.

As to the way OldDuke chose to let you know - that is their perogative. I believe a complete explanation might assist you to avoid it in the futture if you so desire.

You seem to be using Microsoft Windows Live Mail 12.0.1606 to post, here is the entire message - headers and all - in plain text... Notice the "Content-Type: image/gif;" sections.
