I think you misunderstood the "similar" part. Yyou may have to "lower" the wide screen to something like 1280x768 or "raise" the little one to 1280X1024. That is if the monitor will support it.

That's what I was afraid of, since I haven't been able to find anything by searching the net. Unfortunately, there's a lot more real estate on the wide-screen than the other, so similar resolutions aren't workable.
Thanks for responding. -K

Unless someone wrote some software to do this, perhaps the video card manufacturer, you can't do it with what is provided in XP. As an alternative, you would need to configure the screens to a resolution that most closely matched each other.

I haven't seen this question addressed anywhere. I have two monitors, of different dimensions. I'm using XP pro, and an NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS display adapter with two ports.
If I set the font size for the widescreen monitor, it is huge on the standard dimension monitor; if I set it for the smaller monitor, it is way too small on the wide-screen. I do have different resolutions enabled on each (1680 x 1050 on the wide-screen; 1024 x 768 on the small-).
I would like to be able to set a different font size for EACH monitor, but can find no way to do this.
Does anyone have an idea?
Thank you! -Kate
