Try switching your router channels. There may be interference from
wirelessphones or other sources.

I've tried different channels but still not a stablewireless
network. It seems that my USB adapters just "loose" the complete
wirelessnetworksignals (not just mine but sometime everywireless
signal in my area.) I suspect the USB ports, either the power USB 2
hubs or the add-on USB 2 ports, are somehow resetting the adapters
since by disconnecting the USB adapters (Safely Remove Hardware
option) and reconnecting will reset thewirelesssignals.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Weel. I have checked all the USB root hubs and de-activate the USB
power option "Allow computer to turn power off.." for every one, even
the older USB 1.1 port that the adapters never use. It seems to make
towirelessconnectionreliabl but now an new problem. My adapters
(TEW-444UBand SMC SMCWUSBT-G) now appear to be stuck at 54.0Mbps
transmit power instead of their published 108Mbps rates. I have check
my SMC SMCWBR14Twirelessspeed settings and it is supposedto be @
180Mbps also.
What sould I check next?

Also, now it has be 24 hours + and I now have 108Mbps speeds. What

Well, my problem is "back." I am now looking at my USB 2.0 ports to
be the problem. I found an updated XP drivers for them (ALi based)

My final update to this post! Turned out my previous USB 2.0 PCI add-
on ports were using an "uncompatible' ALi chipset (at least for my
PC.) Replaced them with NEC based USB 2.0 PIC adapter and all seems
to be ok!
Hey smlunatick i sent you an email but i dont know if you got it. I
have the exact same problem as you. Could you send me the file you
used to reset your ports. also could you explain what you mean but Pci
add on ports? Do i just use driver cleaner to clean the usb drivers
and install updated ones or something? thanks in advance. Trendnet

PCI add-on ports == Separate PCI card which connects to a white PCI
motherboard connector to add additional USB 2.0 ports.
