Mobile phone & bluetooth.

Using XP/SP2, phone is Samsung SGHE370.
Have enabled bluetooth and discovery on the phone.
Tried Samsung software, totally useless so trying both Mobiledit and Mobile
Master.
On first installation of both programs I can connect to phone, move files
etc. but when program is closed and I re-open it and try to reconnect it
won't.
Either program seems to find the phone, I enter the passkey then on the
phone I get "DUN connect to (computer name)?". I agree but this message
keeps recurring and won't stop until I close the program, That's as far as
I get.
I have gone through the bluetooth connection wizard and it seems to find the
phone OK but still can't connect properly.
I have deleted bluetooth from Device Manager, removed and re-inserted
bluetooth adapter, allowed XP to find it and re-install it but no
difference.
This is the second adapter I have tried with similar results.
WIth both programs there is a connection wizard which appears to find the
phone but can't connect to it.
Any suggestions welcome
