I'm about to cobble together an 865PE motherboard with a Pentium D925 on it,
....motherboard has a AGP slot so that I can use my old graphics card,
.....Antec PSU I've been ogling has a 6 pin pci-e supply, does that just

In other words, will PSU be okay if that 6 pin power supply is unused, just
like one can tie-up the 4 pin cpu power supply if not used on older
boards/cpu's that don't need it 4pin power.

I'm reading from the graphics card manual that the S/PDIF cable, ... and it has a two pin cable connection for the S/PDIF output. ... so the connector only fits one way. ... You'd want the black wire to go to ground on the motherboard,... (alt.comp.hardware.pc-homebuilt)
Re: New System for Win 7 ... It's the 4 second watchdog timout built into _all_ MoBo...PSU control circuits, a feature to let you over-ride a locked up multi ... low on the PS pin to 'switch it on' and pulls it high to 'switch the PSU ... (uk.comp.homebuilt)
