Re: Ram Question

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Of course it will, it will run poorly but it will run. When XP was first released many OEM's included only 128MB.

sounds like you have on board Video and its using 128mb. this can be checked in the BIOS. actually I did not think XP would run on just 128?

I am using windows xp. The question I have is I have 256 mb of ram installed
and system information shows that but shows available ram is 29 mb. I have
run 2 other programs that say I only have 127 mb of total ram. So is windows
not reading the ram right or are the other programs wrong? Thanks for any
help.
