Prime Film Slide Scanner XP Drivers

Posting this in case anyone here has an older "Prime Film" slide scanner and hasn't been able to find updated drivers.

One major loss for me when my win98 box went down was that our "Prime Film" slide scanner (very important to those of us with artist mates) didn't offer XP drivers... there were drivers posted at several third party "driver sites" which claimed support XP, but ended up crashing XP hard.

Good things come to those who wait? I made a number of searches for the
Prime Film's XP drivers without success several months ago.

In the interum, Pacific Image (which is the new company name) apparently posted XP drivers for the 1800 series single slide scanners...

Just installed and tested them and they work.

This was a major issue for us as the slide scanner was at the top of our "need list" and replacement cost was going to be near $300.

Now, if I could only find drivers for my old HP workhorse... the LaserJet 1100A scanner pod... the only thing I have ever seen which auto feeds _small_ documents such as business cards and checks.

I'm, sadly, admitting defeat with respect to my venerable scsi ScanJet 5p ;-)
