Re: How to back up files?



The msg came up because your sys has detected a problem with your hardware,
most likely your disk drive.
You backup files by using the default ntbackup application that may have
been installed with winxp. But as a first time user you might find a third
party Backup application easier to use.
Backups can be to cd/dvd, thumb drive or external hard disk drive. Many
external drives have backup software included.
You should follow the advise in the msg & backup your data immediately!!
Remember data cannot be that important if its not backed up.

A message came up when i first turned on my lap top..
it said there was some kind of hardware problem
and that i should back up all my files as soon as possible..

why did this message come up?
but even more importantly..how do you back up files?!
i have tons of important pictures
and papers on here i have to keep
but dont even know what to do..please help!
