Program Specific button assignment for cordless Trackman?

Does anyone know how I can set program specific buttons on my logitech
cordless trackman? It doesn't allow in the software provided on their
site. I usually have the middle button set to minimize a window, but I
need it as a middle click when using 3d software. Any suggestions
would be much appreciated.
