Turned on pc this morning and updated my media player. When I rebooted it
came up and was detecting my dvd burner and said ther was a problem with it.
The burnner was working fine befor the update.
Removed the drivers and let it reinstall, just comes back with yellow
exclimation mark.
Restored to 2 days ago, still same thing.
Did a repair install and it stops and wants a file off the ms xp sp2 cd
called asms which don't exist on the cd or anywher I can find. Now it just
goes in circles. Boots back to setup and wants the file.
Safe mode don't work as it says, "safe mode can't be run in setup mode, but
can't get out of setup mode cause it can't fine asam.
Anyone know a why out of this loop...?
