I have a client asking about using 64-bit versions of XP and Vista on the
hardware we're supplying. The relevant info is Pentium D 820 on an Intel
DG965SS motherboard.
Will this setup run XP-64? What are the general requirements for running
64-bit XP? Is 64-bit Vista any different than 32-bit?
---I'm not concerned about apps here, that's the client's problem.

If you can post all relevant info as to which update and was it compatible with Vista and any and all error messages that are shown including the what is shown on the blue screen then maybe we can help you ...windows repair which whatever I do results in the system not working. ... Personnaly, using Office 2003 & 2007 and other offfice type apps, other than an app opening quicker I've seen no noticible speed increase goning from a slow single core with 1gb memory, to a dual core with 2gb matched memory ... buy a 64 bit vista this ...
