You can try, I don't have one of those laptops. I would thing you could access it in Control Panel and see what adjustments you could make. Or cover it up to test the theory.

Hey, George, please try Bob I's suggestion. Disable, temporarily, the touchpad & temporarily install a USB mouse, for instance. I had the same problem which my wife or neither of my daughters, excellent typists btw, could reproduce. Funny how one can unknowingly touch the touchpad accidentally. I now always use the small, laptop-designed mouse. HTH, and sincerely hope you try this. s
