Hi people..
I have a pentium III processor ( 800 MHz ) with Intel original chipset
motherboard ( 810-810E ).. Its not an ATX motherboard.. So I wanted to
know
if there's any way to switch off the CPU automatically.. For example while
using auto-shutdown softwares or download managers like DAP which shuts
down
the computer after completing downloads, the CPU doesn't switch off.. It
stays at the " You can now turn off your computer safely" screen.. So, if
anyone knows the solution for this, please reply and help me out..
Thank you..
Doesn't make any sense. That's part of the difference between AT and ATX
spec for motherboards. If you don't have an ATX/micro ATX board, you have
an AT board. There's no hardware internal to an AT motherboard for removing
power that can be accessed by software.
