Check in the Power Options section of the Control Panel. There should be a
section for APM which should have to Turn PC off.

Hi people..
I have a pentium III processor ( 800 MHz ) with Intel original chipset
motherboard ( 810-810E ).. Its not an ATX motherboard.. So I wanted to know
if there's any way to switch off the CPU automatically.. For example while
using auto-shutdown softwares or download managers like DAP which shuts down
the computer after completing downloads, the CPU doesn't switch off.. It
stays at the " You can now turn off your computer safely" screen.. So, if
anyone knows the solution for this, please reply and help me out..
Thank you..
