Hi:
I need a spare adapter for my Laptop.
I went to the eBay site whether it has an Adapter I've been
looking for and found the similar one. I contacted a seller
whether the Adapter listed can be used for my Laptop.
He promptly responsed by e-mail, ... 'it's PERFECTLY fits
to my Laptop.' He has an excellent record in the eBay site
as a good seller.
However, since this is electrical, I started to concern
whether it's safe to buy from eBay site.
My question is:
Is it OK to buy an Adapter for my HP Laptop from a third-party?
Because, its maker, the HP is very expensive while an eBay-seller is half
its price.
Thanks for your 'honest' and 'candid' opinion on this regard.
There are 3 things to worry about when purchasing a replacement ac adapter
for a laptop. The voltage, the amperage (more is ok) and the connector
size. You can do some comparisons here: http://www.laptopacadapter.com/hp/
If the ac adapter fits the 3 criteria and the ebay seller has a good
reputation then I wouldn't have any qualms about buying it.
