Could you clarify for me what is happening with those windows when you
say that the tool bar is being refreshed? Are you noticing the icons on
the tool bar being re-drawn, or is something else amiss?

Thanks for the update Peter, I'll confess I've not seen something like
this happen before. My gut tells me that it's a display adapter
configuration issue. I would suggest confirming that you are using the
latest version of your video card's drivers and that your screen refresh
rate is up at an appropriate level.

As I say, this is more of a gut feeling so if the above doesn't work I
would suggest starting a new thread with an appropriate title so that
someone who has dealt with this before can better assist you.
