You might want to download the latest drivers that nVidia released. Depending
on the version that you have installed, there may be have been "updates" since
the CD version that you have.
Check with www.nvidia.com

Did you install the nVidia driver or not? If you use only the Microsoft
one, version of the driver, you may get this problem.

sorry if this is a dumb question,
have just installed a geforce 6200 graphics card in my desktop, and have
reinstalled my file viewing programmes.. windows media player, nero
showtime, quicktime and vlc media player ( i know i have 4 and only need
mediabut that's not the point)
now when i try to watch any kind of video at all it just goes to the
"loading media " screen of the relevant player, regardless of which
programme i use, then freezes there, and in my task manager page the cpu
usage by whichever programme i'm using is 99 % so it kills my computer.
I assume that in deleting the integrated video driver ( a task i had to do
to install the new one) i have failed to input the new pathways into
toplayer, but i cannot find a way to do this, as i cannot open mediaplayer
get to the options page as it just freezes...plese help!!
