Re: Turned off sound card, computer still beeps

If you don't want the operating system making any sounds, the operating system won't make any sounds. What did you do two weeks ago?

I suppose you could Disable the system speaker in Device manager.-

That won't do it. You need to either disable it in the BIOS
or open the case and unplug it.

    ... You would be correct IF you wanted to keep the BIOS from alarming, but in this case it is the Operating system using the speaker. ... So I went to the office to check out this "beeping". ... the beeps only happen with ...
