The card is there, it shows up in device manager. Its in the same slot prior to my re-install
of XP.
Thanks for your help.

If you can, try the card in another system.. you might also try the card in another slot..
remove it physically from the system.. reboot without it.. now re-install the card, having
drivers ready when asked for..

Go to the sound icon in Control Panel, and check for sound card.. if it doesn't show up in your
system or another, replace the card..

When attempted to install them I received a messge saying that no sound blaster audio cards
were detected on my system.

Thanks,

I'm hoping someone in this forum can help me; Creative/Soundblaster tech support & forums
were not able to.

I have a SB Live! sound card. Model SB0200 Serial Number:
MSB0200320152655 and a set of Creative Cambridge Soundworks 200 Speakers.
The speakers consist of 4 satellites and 1 sub woofer. My audio has been
working flawlessly for several years. In other words, left rear, right rear,
left front, right front all working as they should. Well, all was well until
last weekend when I decided to reformat my drive and re-install Windows XP
Pro (sp2). Creative no longer posts these drivers (only updates). However, I installed them
from an old installation cd that I had. The problem I'm having is that only
two of the satellites emit sound! Furthermore when I run the creative
diagnostic test app (all tests pass) and run the "Test Speakers", the rear
left speaker is identified properly; and the right front speaker is
identified as rear right and no speakers are identified as front. When I
downloaded the updates from the SB web site and attempted to install them I
received a messge saying that no sound blaster cards were detected. My
physical h/w configuration has not been touched during the re-install of
windows.

Any suggestions for getting my audio system working properly again would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks
