I'm trying to use an external 10-Key pad with my laptop, however, when I activate it (use the num-lock function), all of the letters on the right side of the keyboard also turn into numbers. Anyone know of a way to disable the num-lock on the main keyboard (keep the keys as letters) but keep it active on the 10-key (so I don't have to constantly enable/disable the num-lock function)?

Thanks much.

The maker of the external Keypad should have provided software to enable you to do that. Contact them.
