It would appear that this function was realized earlier in the following:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/257699/en-us and "USB-HC_PwrMgmt.doc"
associated with Windows 2000 server.
The solution appears to be to just us the power on/off button and let the
issue go as the USB 2.0 port is not recognized to recover from standby or
hibernation.

correctly, the wireless receiver actually doesn't work in this situation, so
you HAVE to push the power on button to "wake something" up as there is no
hardwired connection. It would appear that this is inherent to using this
