Is there some reason you do not want to install SP2 in its entirety?

I have a Dell D420 Laptop that has an SD Card slot on it. We are running
XP
SP1 and I have obtained the required drivers (sdbus.inf, sdbus.sys &
sdhcinst.dll) from the Microsoft SP2 driver files.
I'm trying to do this automatically without any intervention. When
deploying a new PC, after the sysprep process, we turn on Plug and Play
and
let it find the specific drivers for each PC type that we have, which is
extracted into appropriate directories on a CD. This has worked for all
other drivers, except this new SD Card on the newest Laptop that we are
getting from Dell (Latitude D420). Instead of just loading the drivers
automatically, XP prompts me for the drivers with via the New Hardware
Wizard.
I can go through the wizard and point to these same drivers - it says that
they are not signed (but they're from Microsoft?!?), but I can ignore that
and continue and they will then install just fine.
How can I get passed whatever is not allowing them to install
automatically?
Is it because they're not signed? If so, how can I resolve this (at least
a
workaround)?
Thanks,
TX Techie
