Adptec SCSI card

I am building a new system box to move from my older Win98Se system. I will be installing XP Home in the new box and transferring as many of my existing peripherals as possible.
One piece of hardware I am not sure about is my Epson Perfection 1200S SCSI scanner, attached to a SCSI card (Adaptec PCI SCSI 2903B).
I have downloaded an XP Twain driver file from Epson. Am I correct in assuming that XP will have its own drivers for the Adaptec SCSI card?
(I have run the XP Upgrade advisor on my old system to see what it says about the connected peripheral hardware - and got the following flagged in the Hardware section:
"Hardware That Might Need Additional Files
The following hardware might need additional files in order to work with Windows XP. Contact your hardware vendors to obtain Windows XP compatible updates. In many cases, if a Windows XP version is not yet available, a Windows 2000 compatible update should work. It is recommended that you obtain these drivers in advance. Please note that some of the following entries might be software that is registered as hardware.
Imaging Device - EPSON Perfection1200"
It didn't mention the SCSI card.
TIA
