Cable Internet Connection Speed
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
I have three computers hooked up to a router. On one computer, the one
closest to the router and with the shortest cable, always downloads at
the paid for speed, 4GB. The other two, with 30 ft. cables, always
download at a little over 1 GB. The upload speed is the same on all of them.
I have tried removing all but one computer with the 30 ft. cable from
the router, no joy. I have tried switching the connections to the
router, no joy.
Is it the long cables?
Thanks!
