Re: Memory upgrade causes no initializing

Take it back to Frys and go back to Crucial. And make sure the 256mb is
compatible with the 512mb... XP is very picky about RAM.

I upgraded my original 128 with a crucial-provided 256.....from there it
was
cheaper to go with Fry's to 512

when i put in the 512 and turn it on nothing happens. at all. the 256
works
just fine. also, i'm wanting to use both the 256 and the 512 in the SODIMM
sockets (2)....but when i put in the two 128 and 256 (ones i know work) it
still won't recognize the one in socket A....any suggestions?

thanks

.
