For the camera, a good solution is to use a card reader. It works
better... particularly when a speedy resolution is desired!

Hi
I'm sorta new to this but i have been having similar problems with my USB
devices i have tried the fore mentioned remedy to no avail. The symptoms
of
my problem are similar but not the same, When ever i connect my ipod or
digital camera instead of being greeted by the little chime and a program
starting all i get is the safely remove icon. Then when i go to " My
computer
to try and activate either device, (they appear as removeable disk H and
I)
the message " The disk drive in H: or I: is not formatted do you want to
format. Now i tried the format once with the ipod and it was unsuccesfull
but
i will not try that with my camera is there are way to many important
photo's
to loose. I have tried many times unsuccesfully to reload all of the
drivers
for the ipod and camera i have even tried un installing the usb drivers. I
am
at wits end and i need to move the files off my camera as my partner is
due
to give birth any day now and i need the space.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Donny
