When you reset the CMOS did you use the pins method and maybe forgot to
place them back in their original position??

i did all of that but still wont boot are even let me in the bios. I think
the bios is shoot not sure yet. AND i put the cpu in my pc to make sureb

was good and it lets me bootfully on my pc.I even installed a new battery.

for aprox 5 minutes or look for and reset the jumpers.
Is the CPU properly seated in its socket and the little leaver down??
Did you redo the cooling paste and reseat the fan as well as plug it into
the right header on the mobo??
Did you perchance bent any of the pins on the CPU??
That should give you some things to look at

ok the other day i was messing with a friends computer. i took his
computer
apart and put it back to gether but i forgot one majar part the cpu
when i
started the computer it went to the bios menu so i exited thincing it
would
bootup bu after it didnt i looked at the table a saw the cpu i put it
back
in
the computer but now it doent bootup or even alow me to go in the the
bios
menu.
can some one help and thell my why?
