Howdy...
Is there anyone out there who can help me figure out a problem I have
been trying to figure out for a couple of months?!
I swear I am going INSANE! Here I am all excited with a brand new 300gb
SATA drive, right? I've got it all setup as the primary boot drive. SATA
enabled. It's the 2nd to boot up after the DVD drive. I don't have
ANYTHING pluged into the ISA-1, ISA-2 is the dvd but I have had the DVD
on the ISA-1 ALSO to no avail.
I boot from my windows cd, it goes through it paces for a couple of
minutes then I get this message:
"Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.
Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected
to your computer, and that any disk-related hardware configuration is
correct. This may involve a minufacturer-supplied diagnostic or setup
program.
Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3."
I have my MAXTOR "MAXBLAST" CD. I did setup the drive, which I was
then told to use my OEM software etc... you know the drill. That is
what I have been trying to do...FOREVER!
I know I am missing something here...A driver or some little trick of
some sort, a script maybe?
Can anyone PLEASE HELP A LADY OUT IN COLORADO???
Thanks So Much,
Cindy
