Well, i hope this will help somehow..
i know it's an old dvd...but its still works..
When i tried to play a movie, window media shows up..but then it wouldnt play
something about a decode?..im running my cd player as MASTER..and the dvd is
on SLAVE.

You shouldn't need drivers for this hardware. In fact, from what you've
said it is installed and working. What you need now is multimedia
"decoders." Codecs and decoders are not a part of the operating system.
Windows Media Player also does not include them but will use whatever is
installed.
This type of software (such as PowerDVD or Intervideo) is often bundled in
with DVD drives, sound cards and video adapters (aka display card). If you
don't have any of these freebies on hand, they can also be purchased
separately.
