I have a Compaq Presario running on XP
Recently when I put any disc (DVD,audio, software) in the E drive and
try to play/open it the whole PC crashes
It won't let me ALT/CTRL/DEL or even switch the computer off so I have
to switch off at the base
Please can someone help??????
I had similar problem couple of weeks ago, and decided that it was a bad
DVD drive. Replaced the drive and no problems since. Just check in the
event viewer to make sure it is nothing else, otherwise, most probably a
failing optical DVD drive, that needs replacing.
