Windows XP Shutdown Error 0X0000009f

We are looking to see if anyone is running to a problem with a
0x0000009f (BSoD) on Shutdown. This error started in the last two
weeks on all effected computers.

We have three computers that are all having the same error.

We have found a Microsoft Knowledge base article about the stop code;
article 315249.

All the computers are running Windows XP SP2 with all the current
critical update and patches applied.

It looks like it may have something to do with Fujifilm Software and
the latest round of Microsoft Updates.

We contacted Fuji and they had no other reports of this problem in
there internal knowledge base.

We also contacted Dell because it happened on two D600 laptops
(different images). They also have not had any other reports about
this issue.

We have tried all of the following:

Remove the Fuji program using the built in uninstaller
Removing all left over remains of the software by hand from the
registry and operating system
Removing the latest windows updates
Running a Symantec Registry Cleaner
Restored to an older restore point
Reinstalling windows over Windows.
Removing all drivers from Windows in safe mode and rebooting

Before we give up and format and restore this computer does anyone have
any thoughts on how to resolve this?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
