It doesn't matter whether you have it master or slave if everything is
working. What matters is which drive you have Windows installed on and which
drive is your C drive. There are several things you can do.
1) Create your own separate user account, make it password protected, and
then install all programs and save all your documents on your separate drive
that you have assigned a drive letter by using Computer Management under
Administrative Tools.
2) Post here under another thread or go to Google.com and type in how to
dual boot with XP (if you are using XP). You obviously have an OS on one
drive working, so leave that one alone. What you will want to do is set up
the second drive as its own partition and install another OS on it. Then
when you boot up, you will get to choose which OS (drive) you want to boot.
If you are worried about your dad seeing your drive's contents, then you
need to learn how to secure your drive and its access with a password.
