Bob,
It is possible the X700AGPis switching to an unsupported range.
I have an Iiyama ProLite E481S LCD monitor. I thought it might be the
monitor so I tried a 19" LG CRT but got the same results.
It might be switching out of range for both of these - but how I can't stop
this since the display blanks at the moment I load the drivers.
