Well, is the drive both a CD and DVD combination? Chances are that the
answer is yes but I had to ask just to be sure. If so then return it, it's
gone bad. You can, if you want, remove the drivers and reboot but that only
works if the hardware is okay. The CDs, I'm guessing because you'd likely
have said so if this wasn't true, all work in other PCs without a problem?
No CDs of any type work in it? If so then it's bunk 99.9% of the time...
