MultMon woes

I just bought a new Dell XPS 600 PentiumD (running XP pro with SP2),
with a Geforce 6800 PCI-Express card as my main display card. Im
trying to get a 3 monitor setup so i purchaced an additional Geforce
5500 FX PCI (with dual vga output), to use as a secondary vid card. I
plugged in the PCI card, rebooted, XP detects the PCI card, I install
the latest nVidia drivers, and reboot again.

When i reboot, the second mon (plugged into the PCI card) says it is
recieveing signal but it is blank. I get to XP, i go to
display->settings to set things up, but i dont see the other display
adapter listed under the "Display:" label like it usually does for a
multimon setup, plus i dont see those things where u activate, extend,
identify, and reposition the other monitors displays in relation to the
main display. Its acting as if the second display adapter isnt there.
When i go to the device manager, under "Display Adapters", I see both
cards listed, and both are said to be working.

Ive tried repositioning the PCI card, deleting the device under the
device manager and reintalling the drivers, looking if there are any
bios related settings, kicking it, but nothing seem to work.

Anyone have any clue why this doesnt work and how to fix it?
