Dynamically adjust fan speeds- Athlon64

I have an Asus K8N-E Deluxe, and an Athlon64 3200+ [754]. Successfully
implemented all the settings for Cool and Quiet, and it is working properly
(installed the AMD CPU driver btw, along with dashboard). But this controls
only processor speed. As a result, the fans make my system sound like a
thermal power station in the night, when they obviously don't need to run at
that rpm. Any ideas as to how these fan speeds may be dynamically adjusted?
Also, Asus has a feature called Q-Fan on this mobo - Does anyone have any
know how about this? The manual is a little too brief and esoteric.

Thanks.
