thanks for searching the net for me,

but these are hyperlinks to intel websites for downloading chipset software,
I already have the latest...

sorry but this is not my problem. As you might know, I got problem with
primary and secondary IDE channels, those bundled with windows, and there is
no help installing intel chipset software, 'cause there is no driver for IDE
channels inside Intel's package.... so sorry, but this did not help!
