USB soundcard

I have not installed anything recently so have no idea why it just
packed up although there is a reference to codec drivers in the device
drivers and other usb stuff such as keyboard and mouse seem to be fine.
Bit confusing why a plug in doesnt work properly. I have run virus
checker and re-installed the old sound card software and motherboard
software. Really confused ..... you can really egt to miss the chords
of a windows start- up...... thanks
