Go to the Control Panel>Sound and Audio Devices Icon. Click on it and
in the Volume Dialog Box make sure that the
" Mute " box is not checked and the "Place volume icon in taskbar" is
checked. Click on Advanced and make sure that none
of the mute boxes are checked there.
