Re: Wireless connection?

Like Peterk said you need a wireless router and wireless pci card to install
in the PC. If your in the states Best Buy's Sunday ad listed a Belkin
wireless router for $9.99 after rebates, same one I bought in March from
CompUSA to use with my Compaq notebook. It worked like a charm. I would
suggest getting a matching wireless card, by that I mean from the same
manufacturer although they are supposed to all work together. My Compaq
notebook works at my home with my Belkin and at my neighbors, he has a Dlink
wireless router.

Hi,
I'm using a cable modem on a Win XP machine to connect to the internet. I
would like to set up a Win 98SE machine in another room using some kind of
wireless connection thru my cable modem. Can this be done? If so, what do I
need?
Thanks,
jll
