Dual layer DVD +- RW drives are under $100 and media is
about a dollar for single layer, higher for dual layer.
Also it is random access, so they are more useable than
tapes.
A USB/Firewire hard drive is also a good back-up choice.
But if you just want to experiment, look for NT drivers,
they may or may not work.

| tapes are dinosaurs of the past - get a DVD burner and do
your backups on
| +RW!
| It's cheap and one DVD holds 4.7gig data. How many tapes
do u need for that?
| Best of all it's fast, much faster than any tape device..
