You can not place any Intel CPUs onto an AMD based motherboard. Some
reasons:
Not the same CPU socket
Not the same voltages for the CPU
BOISes are different
Depending on the motherboard, you may be able to install a faster AMD chip.
Check with the manufacturer's web site so as to see what is the fastest AMD
processor that your motherboard can use.
