In my experience with hundreds of hard drives, a "click, click, clicking"
sound of the HD nearly always means impending failure of the HD. So before
you begin rebooting I would strongly advise you to copy whatever important
files you need or, more importantly, clone the contents of that drive (using
a disk imaging program) to another internal or external HD.
You should also obtain a diagnostic utility that virtually all HD
manufacturers have available for download and test the HD.
