Windows does not corrupt hard drives, as many tens of millions of users can
attest to. Users corrupt hard drives by installing incompatible
drivers/hardware, crap programs and utilities, allowing virus's, trojans,
spywear etc. on their computer.
Clean up your act and Windows will perform very well for you (at least up to
the potential of your hardware).
