RE: Windows XP reboots



Hi,

Right click My Computer/Properties/Advanced, click the Settings button in
the startup and Recovery area, uncheck the box "automatically restart" in the
System failure area, click OK and the reboot.
Try access the DVD writer, you may receive a BSOD instead of restarting.
Write down the complete warning message and post back to the NG so that
someonbe may help you.

BTW, let us know have you clean installed XP or upgraded Win98 to XP?
Also let us know what burning softwares you have installed.
