Everyone was so helpful last week with my question about the KVM switch. My thanks once again.
I have two computers and would like to use this type of switch to cut down on desktop clutter and take advantage of a good quality monitor and speakers.
I forgot to ask in my earlier message, if I use this switch, can I leave both computers on and running at the same time?
My purpose is to use one computer for dedicated digital photography work. When it is rendering a long video, it can take several hours. While this is taking place, I want to switch back to # 2 computer to work on other things, while computer #1 is still running.
If so, will switching to computer #2 via a KVM switch interfere with the processing of the digital video on computer #1?
Thank you for your time.
